  1. Does the sheep have a black belly?
    • If yes, go to Question 2.
    • If no, your sheep are barbado.

  2. Does the sheep have black stripes on its muzzle, forehead, or between its eyes?
    • If yes, go to Question 3.
    • If no, your sheep are barbado.

  3. Does the ram have horns?
    • If yes, your sheep are American Blackbelly.
    • If no, go to Question 4.

  4. Does the ewe have horns?
    • If yes, your sheep are American Blackbelly.
    • If no, go to Question 5.

  5. Does the sheep have wool that completely sheds out in the spring?
    • If yes, your sheep are Barbados Blackbelly.
    • If no, your sheep are barbado.
